About Nova Greece
Nova Greece is a subscription TV service operating in Greece and a member of United Group, the largest telecommunications and media group in Southeast Europe. Nova delivers its services via satellite and internet. It runs 35 TV stations in total (20 own and 15 as a carryover service) as well as 3 VOD systems.
Most people said: ‘This can’t be done!’ Long story short? Our Nova team and these ‘black magic’ engineering and software wizards at PROVYS did it! Both the Nova and PROVYS teams worked tirelessly around the clock, but everything went as planned and, in many cases, above expectations!

The clock is ticking
Previously, Nova Greece was using other broadcast management system for all of its operations. However, after 15 years of using the software, the management decided to find an alternative that would better meet the company’s needs. Nova Greece wanted more efficient solution, which would unify its processes and improve automation for both linear and non-linear workflows. What’s more – the company needed to switch to a new solution in less than 6 months. Scope, design, migration, all workflows – everything had to be done on time. And that’s when PROVYS comes into play…
